JKD-R:    IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURE

The following procedures will apply to in-school suspension of students.

A. Students will report directly to the in-school suspension (ISS) room in the 

morning.

B. Students will work on assignments provided by subject teachers.

C. Students will use all time in ISS for productive activities.

D. No conversation is permitted.

E. Students will eat lunch in the ISS room.

F. Students will be given permission to use the bathroom during class periods

only, and not during passing time.

G. All assigned time must be completed before return to regular classes.

H. During ISS, students are prohibited from participation in or attendance at 

any school extracurricular or social activity.

I. The emphasis of the ISS program is an isolation from other students.
