Permaculture Garden

Eddie and Teacum, two of Mrs. Cathey's biology students, build 'living' soil in a process called sheet mulching.   This is the start of a great permaculture garden at Traip Academy!  Henry, Coleman, and Tanner look on as well as community partner Maury Hepner.

Traip students working as research assistants...

Hands-on science:  WHS students aid Antaya on cancer treatment

Three WHS seniors, three WHS juniors and two students from Traip Academy in Kittery, Maine, have been working as research assistants at Hampton­-based Antaya Science and Technology over the past seven weeks.

Distracted Driving Awareness Day

Clara, a junior at Traip Academy, maneuvers through the distracted driver simulator while Officer Durgin from the Kittery Police Department and other students look on.  The Traip Academy Student Council, in cooperation with the Kittery Police Department, sponsored a Distracted Driving Awareness Day for all students.
